If you provide comments to Wimpy’s Diner regarding your experience at our restaurants and franchises, use credit cards to pay for meals, order Wimpy’s Diner Gift Cards, enter a Wimpy’s Diner contest or promotion, apply for a Wimpy’s Diner franchise, seek employment opportunities at Wimpy’s Diner, or have other interactions with Wimpy’s Diner, you may provide us with certain Personal Information related to those interactions.
Wimpy’s Diner does not and will not give, sell, rent, share or loan your Personal Information to others except with your prior permission, as disclosed in this policy, as may be permitted or required by law, or in certain cases if we engage a third party to provide services to us and the third party is bound by confidentiality obligations. If you voluntarily provide us with comments on your experiences at Wimpy’s Diner restaurants and franchises, we may forward Personal Information you provide to us to the relevant restaurant and franchise, and that restaurant, franchise and ourselves may use that information to respond to, keep a record of, administer and make known within Wimpy’s Diner and its franchises all comments or inquiries.
CONTESTS & PROMOTIONS
If you enter a Wimpy’s Diner contest or promotion, we will use any Personal Information provided to conduct and administer the contest or promotion in accordance with its rules. We may also contact you regarding promotions we believe will be of interest to you.
If you apply for or make inquiries about obtaining a Wimpy’s Diner franchise, we will use any Personal Information provided to review and assess your candidacy and for the purposes of your business contacts and relationship with us. This may include contacting references and conducting credit and background checks with others in accordance with your signed consent provided to us.
This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, excluding any conflict of laws or rules that would apply to another body of law. This policy constitutes and contains the entire agreement between you and Wimpy’s Diner Inc. with respect to its subject matter and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements.
